High Light, Human Light is an animated documentary series that explores the beauty, resilience, and shared humanity revealed when we truly listen to one another. 

Artist and host Jennifer Bechem invites people into intimate conversations about joy, struggle, identity, and the ways they care for themselves and others. She translates what she hears into abstract paintings, then expands those colors and shapes through animation—creating a vivid emotional landscape where every voice becomes part of something larger. Currently in production for Austin PBS, the series transforms real human stories into color, movement, and connection.
