I am a visual artist working in abstract painting with oil pastels and mixed media. My practice centers on listening, presence, and connection to place, translating lived experience—light, sound, memory, and environment—into color, rhythm, and form through sustained observation rather than representation.

I approach painting as a process of attention. Rather than depicting subjects literally, I allow form, palette, and movement to emerge slowly in response to atmosphere and duration. My work is shaped by synesthetic perception, through which sound and emotion register as color, and by a long-standing interest in how light and stillness influence perception. I approach every site and story with deep ethical listening and respect, honoring the human, ecological, and cultural dimensions present in each context.
